​Pastor Juan Miguel Paredes has been serving the Lord since he was seventeen years old. Prayer has been a key component of his relationship with Christ and serves as a foundational element in all aspects of his ministry work. Pastor Miguel is the founder of the global outreach ministry "Tap Me If You Need Prayer" and the founding senior pastor of Zealous Christian Church, alongside his wife of twenty-five years and their six wonderful children. Miguel holds an associate degree in Christian Ministries from Belhaven University and is certified as a mental health liaison through Lighthouse Christian Ministries. He has served as a first responder to both physical and spiritual needs. Additionally, Pastor Miguel has worked in the nonprofit sector with senior communities for a total of fifteen years. He is passionate about seeing people grow and succeed. As an artist, Miguel has a deep appreciation for nature, music, and photography.

Betsy Paredes, the First Lady, assists Pastor Miguel with pastoral care at Zealous Christian Church. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management and oversees logistical and administrative matters within the ministry. For the past ten years, Betsy has worked as a middle school English teacher in Lake County, with a strong emphasis on youth ministry in her pastoral role.

Together, Pastor Miguel and First Lady Betsy are raising their six children, who range in age from elementary school to adulthood, with a focus on instilling the fear of the Lord. They understand that family is the greatest circle of influence and their primary responsibility before the Lord.
